Mena Alexandra (born on the 13th of February 1979) is an actress and model from the United States. After a brief period as a fashion model before moving into acting when she appeared as guest stars on TV shows such as Boy Meets World in the 1990s, and High Incident. Her first film part in the drama Nowhere. In American Beauty and American Pie the actress gained more recognition for her performances. In 2000, she starred in American Pie alongside American Pie co star Jason Biggs. In 2001, she took on the lead character in Sugar & Spice (2000). The year 2002 saw her was a part in Spun the drama that was made by an independent studio and 2004's thriller Trauma. Her other appearances include HBO's comedy Six Feet Under. The filmography she starred in was Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh, the adaptation from The Garden of Eden and numerous other films. Suvari is the model for Lancome cosmetics as well as print ads in the brand's Lancome Paris Adaptive and has been featured in several magazines and fashion blogs like Vogue. She is a long-time advocate and supporter of the esteemed African relief organization the African Medical and Research Foundation. The organization is also active in issues of female empowerment and is associated with groups that support breast cancer awareness and the End Violence Against Women Campaign.
