Mena and Missy

Mena Alexa Suvari, born 1979. She is a famous American fashion designer, model and actress. After a brief stint as a fashion model and then a transition to acting, appearing as guest actors on television shows such as Boy Meets World in the 1990s, and High Incident. Her first film appearance was on 1997's dramatic Nowhere. She made the transition to important roles thanks to her performance in American Beauty for which she received nominations for a BAFTA Award and American Pie and American Pie, both of which gained her wider attention. Her next appearance was in Loser (2000) in which she starred alongside American Pie actor Jason Biggs. Later she played the lead role in Sugar & Spice (2002). The film also featured her in the 2002 acclaimed independent drama Spun and in the 2004 thriller feature Trauma. In addition, she was a part of the HBO drama Six Feet Under. The series was a hit in 2004 and in 2005 the Screen Actors Guild honored her as one of the outstanding actors. In 2008, Suvari was a part in a string of films such as Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh and the film adaptation of The Garden of Eden. Suvari has been a model in Lancome Paris Adaptive, and she's been in a variety of blogs and magazines, including Vogue. She has supported and been an advocate for the African Medical and Research Foundation for many years.
